    The Foot Patrols also arised from the cooperation with the the Agricultural Unions.  The Foot Patrols operate in areas where crimes are still committed.  Foot Patrols consist of two or more of the WIPS security personnel who investigate all strange movements.  The Foot Patrols have permission from farmers to enter into residential and storage facilities on the farms to search for stolen goods and illegal immigrants.
  • WIPS Radio Call
    @ 06:30 and 18:30 for the Loskop Dam/Groblersdal and Marble Hall areas and
    @ 05:30 and 19:00 for the Toitskraal area
    This entails the operations room to call all subscribers to the Radio Call Service in the mornings and in the afternoons on the two way radios. The operator confirms if the subscriber has experienced any problems during the past 12 hours and also confirms the identity of the subscriber. Should a subscriber not answer the call, the subsriber is then called on the phone, and should there still be no response, an immediate investigation is launched. This service is a result of the cooperation with the Agricultural Unions for which Piet acts as a consultant for three regions with regard to security and wildlife conservation.
